I’m in Osaka for a short visit. It is the time before the summer officially kicks in. Normally it is often a very wet season with monsoon front line staying on top of the islands for weeks, but this time, it seems it has been kept pretty sunny. I walked around the town I grew up in, checking out the changes that are happening.
The under-path at the rail crossing. I hear that they will be diverting the traffic by building a new bridge. With that, this under-path may go away as well.
The former local market. Now it’s blocked off as the 70s public housing nearby have all been flattened to give way to a forest of the newer high-rise public housing.
